This is a Note to the Traditional People here & Everywhere.

Stop asking the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake to follow its Mandate to Return to Traditional Government. Firstly, because we all know that the MCK is never going to go back to any truly traditional form of government(EVER). The balance of Power given back to the people would be to great for anyone in the MCK to accept, considering the level of power the MCK thinks it has at the moment.

Secondly, stop asking because no one gave the MCK permission to implement a government for you. No one signed over the Mohawk Nation to the MCK. No one signed our Sovereignty to Canada. No one signed anything to the MCK EVER. Not to mention, no one ever stopped using the Traditional system to the point where it needs to be re-implemented. It just needs to be used again…

All the Traditional people in Kahnawake need to do is ENFORCE HAUDENOSAUNEE LAW by means of the Great Law. The MCK was put here by the Canadian Government as a means to assimilate our people. What ever in the world gave anyone the idea that Mohawk people have to abide by the MCK/CANADA or US Laws.

There is nothing in the Great Law(our Constitution) that does not say the Haudenosaunee Six Nations Iroquois confederacy or any of its people have to abide by any Foreign Government, outside or within Haudenosaunee Territory. (Even if that Foreign Government is run, owned and operated by Mohawk people.) There is no reason anyone has to abide by any laws the MCK or any Band system implements. Other than the fact that, the Band System has set up a means to FORCE you to follow its rules. It has NEVER set up a system to force people to follow the Great Law, but it enforces foreign laws upon us.

You want Traditional Government set it up, tell the MCK this is how its going to be and that’s that. There is nothing in the Great Law that says they or any other Foreign Government has to approve of anything. The only people who have to approve of the Traditional Government are the people whom take part in its government. What is does say is this “If a nation, part of a nation, or more than one nation within the Five Nations should in any way endeavor to destroy the Great Peace by neglect or violating its laws and resolve to dissolve the League, such a Nation or such nations shall be deemed guilty of treason and called enemies of the League of the Great Peace……..They shall be warned once and if a second warning is necessary, they shall be driven from the territory of the League by the War Chief and his men.”

Lastly, there should be no complaints about the Traditional system. It is a system if followed accordingly will afford every child, woman and man a voice unseen in 300 years anywhere in the New World. The Traditional System will afford people the right to be heard, the right to be a people and the right to take place in their government. Not just elect people, to do what they please for 2 years, milking the system.

The excuse “we need to learn more about the Great Law” has been used long enough. Either people start using the traditional system, take it seriously, or consider the possibility of loosing an entire Nation to a Foreign Nation. There is no reason why this should happen anytime soon.
